Best-in-class AC-voltage breakdown for industrial HV ceramic chips Thick-film chip resistors qualified to 250°C Ultra-high capacitance wet tantalum capacitor
Characterisation of the AC-voltage breakdown of Johanson high-voltage ceramic chip capacitors, against comparable chips from 3 other manufacturers, has confirmed that the Johanson parts deliver a best-in-class AC-voltage breakdown performance.
• Failures below 1650 Vac guard band (Exceeds IEC384-14) • Johanson: 0 failures • Vendors 1-3: 9 – 9091ppm failures • 20% higher breakdown voltage level • Improved level of statistical variability
New HTCR chip resistors from TT electronics Welwyn Components, are qualified for operation up to 250°C and are compatible with wire-bonding, adhesive and soldering assembly. In addition to conventional high-temperature applications, such as down-hole, automotive, defence and aerospace equipment, non-magnetic versions of the HTCR chip resistors are compatible with medical MRI scanner applications. With no organic materials, HTCR resistors can also be used in high-vacuum space and scientific equipment.
Combining the inherent reliability of wet tantalum, with the capacitance stability of solid tantalum, the Vishay 10011 wet tantalum capacitor eliminates impedance restrictions and dramatically increases capacitance ratings. Housed in an all-tantalum, hermetically-sealed case, and manufactured to withstand high stress and hazardous environments, the new DSCC 10011 capacitor provides a unique double seal for reliable performance in low-voltage filtering and energy storage in demanding applications.
