Job Title: Marketing, Events & Communications Coordinator
Location: Dol-y-Coed, Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys
Reports to: Directors
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Job Purpose

Charcroft Electronics is seeking an organised and proactive Marketing, Events & Communications Coordinator to support the promotion of our products, services, manufacturing capabilities and supplier partnerships.

This varied role will focus on coordinating exhibitions, conferences, supplier activities, customer communications, social media content and company events, whilst working closely with our Business Development Managers, Directors, suppliers and external marketing partners.

The successful candidate will help ensure Charcroft maintains a professional and visible presence within the electronics industry, supporting both business development activities and wider company communications.

Key Responsibilities

Events & Exhibitions

• Coordinate Charcroft's participation in exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and industry events.
• Organise stand logistics, promotional materials, travel and accommodation arrangements.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding joint exhibitions, sponsorship opportunities and event participation.
• Support customer invitations and attendance at events.
• Coordinate post-event communications and follow-up activities.
• Maintain exhibition equipment, promotional stock and event materials.

Marketing & Communications

• Coordinate marketing activities and campaigns in conjunction with internal teams and external marketing partners.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of newsletters, product updates and company communications.
• Gather and coordinate content relating to supplier news, product launches, customer successes and company activities.
• Support the promotion of Charcroft's manufacturing, distribution and engineering capabilities.
• Assist with internal communications and company announcements.

Digital & Social Media

• Coordinate content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
• Work with internal IT and external marketing resources to ensure website content remains current and accurate.
• Support the publication of company news, event updates and supplier information.
• Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to increase Charcroft's visibility.

Supplier & Business Development Support

• Work closely with suppliers to obtain product information, marketing materials and promotional content.
• Support supplier visits, training sessions and customer events.
• Assist Business Development Managers with marketing collateral and promotional activities.
• Help raise awareness of Charcroft's products, franchises and services across target markets.

General Administration

• Maintain marketing databases, contact lists and event records.
• Monitor stocks of promotional items, literature and exhibition materials.
• Assist with marketing budgets and expenditure tracking.
• Provide administrative support for marketing, communications and event activities.

Skills & Experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Role Overview

We are looking for an organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join our team at our head office in Llanwrtyd Wells.

This role is primarily focused on providing administrative and customer support to the internal and external sales team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of customer enquiries, quotations, order processing, and general sales administration activities.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining excellent customer service standards, supporting sales processes, and ensuring accurate and timely system updates and communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team and wider commercial department.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare and issue customer quotations using internal systems and supplier information.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all relevant information is recorded correctly.
• Maintain and update customer, quotation, and order information within company systems.
• Liaise with purchasing, warehouse, quality, and production teams to support order progression and resolve queries.
• Assist with expediting orders, delivery updates, and customer communication.
• Support the sales team with general administration, reporting, and documentation.
• Investigate and help resolve customer issues relating to pricing, deliveries, paperwork, or order discrepancies.
• Ensure a high level of attention to detail and accuracy across all administrative tasks.

Candidate Profile

Essential:

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in an administration, customer service, or sales support role.
• Experience within electronics, manufacturing, engineering, or distribution environments.
• Knowledge of electronic components or technical products would be beneficial, although training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support:

• Act as a key point of contact for customers via phone and email.
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up proactively to convert opportunities into orders.

• Provide product information, lead times, and pricing to customers in line with company policies.
• Work closely with the Business Development Managers (BDMs) to support customer accounts and new business opportunities.
• Maintain and update customer information and communications within the CRM and ERP systems.

Supplier Liaison

• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, and technical data for quotations.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely and competitive responses.
• Support purchasing with order tracking or queries as required.

Sales Administration

• Ensure all quotations, orders, and communications are accurately recorded.
• Monitor and follow up on open quotes and opportunities.
• Support sales reporting, pipeline tracking, and performance metrics as requested by the Sales Office Manager.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Experience in an internal sales, customer service, or commercial role (preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or engineering).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills..
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple customer accounts.
• Good IT skills including Excel, Outlook, and ERP or CRM systems.

Desirable
• Understanding of components, part numbers, and basic technical terminology (training provided).
